Define relationships and impact behaviour

Make connections explicit and understand whether they propagate impact.

Before you start

Configuration Management enabled, CSM Full and relationship edit rights.

Steps

1. Open the relationship manager for the relevant CI.
2. Choose the related CI and relationship type.
3. Select the intended impact mode when creating the relationship.
4. Review the resulting relationship and any no-impact hint.
5. Inspect the relationship map to understand the connected context.

Expected result

The relationship has explicit semantics for configured impact processing.

Important behaviour

Existing relationship impact modes are not editable in the documented UI. Do not assume a connection propagates impact simply because it appears on the map.
