Maintain a service and offering

Keep ownership, support context and targets clear.

Before you start

Service portfolio edit permissions.

Steps

1. Create or open the service and review its details and ownership.
2. Open its Service offerings tab.
3. Create or update the offering’s ownership, classification and schedules.
4. Review response/resolution targets and availability policy.
5. Where configuration prerequisites are met, review supported service instances.

Expected result

The offering provides explicit delivery and commitment context.

Important behaviour

Service Catalog is a separate navigation item, not a tab within every service. CSM Full is required for configuration-connected actions.
