Review inconsistencies between linked inventory and configuration records.

Before you start

Both Asset Management and Configuration Management enabled, CSM Full and appropriate access.

Steps

  1. Link the asset and CI where they represent the relevant connected records.
  2. Open CI Reconciliation.
  3. Review detected inconsistencies.
  4. Correct the appropriate source record using authorised editing actions.

Expected result

You can identify and address mismatched context.

Important behaviour

Reconciliation detects issues; it does not imply automatic correction or continuous two-way synchronisation.
