Distinguish feature activation from operating views and permissions.

No configuration access is needed to read this explanation.

Steps

1. Identify the capability you want to use.
2. Check whether its module is enabled for your organisation.
3. For configuration-connected work, check that the operating view is CSM Full.
4. Check that your role permits the intended action.

Expected result

You can identify which prerequisite controls a missing feature.

Important behaviour

ITSM Lite and CSM Full are operating views over a shared model, not pricing tiers or maturity levels. Asset Management is independent of Configuration Management.
