Create, review and publish a knowledge article

Prepare reusable guidance and move it through the appropriate lifecycle.

Before you start

Knowledge authoring and review/publication rights for the relevant knowledge base.

Steps

1. Open the knowledge base and create an article if the action is available.
2. Write a clear title, summary and body, and add relevant attachments.
3. Set the applicable service and scope.
4. Submit for review and complete the permitted approval steps.
5. Publish when approved and verify visibility with the intended audience.

Expected result

A reviewed article becomes available to eligible readers.

Important behaviour

The New article button is permission-controlled. Scheduled publication is not an automatic publishing promise. A knowledge base marked public remains governed by tenant access.
